Privacy Policy

This policy describes how RUVU CORPORATION handles personal information collected through ruvu.ai.

Effective September 26, 2026privacy@ruvu.ai
Draft for legal review. This policy is not legal advice and should be reviewed by qualified counsel.
01

Who we are

RUVU CORPORATION (“ru/vu,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a Delaware corporation. We operate ruvu.ai and the AI-powered visitor agent known as Vu.

Questions or requests about this policy can be sent to privacy@ruvu.ai.

02

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

  • Information you provide. This includes chat messages, name, role, company, email address, telephone number, LinkedIn URL, inquiry details, meeting preferences, event or waitlist details, and files or other content you choose to submit.
  • Chat context and memory. Vu keeps recent conversation history and profile details in your browser. Successful visitor chats may also be saved as verbatim transcripts on our systems, alongside rolling summaries of earlier conversations. Authorized ru/vu personnel may review conversations for follow-up, safety, quality, and service improvement.
  • Technical and usage data. This may include IP address, browser and device information, user agent, referring page, pages viewed, interactions, timestamps, approximate location, and identifiers derived from network and device information.
  • Public-source information. When relevant to an inquiry or meeting, we may use public web sources to research a business or professional context. This can include company information and publicly available professional information. Research is based on information you provide, such as your work email, name, or company, rather than treating your network provider as your employer.
03

How we use information

  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and secure the site and Vu.
  • Answer questions and personalize conversations.
  • Remember context across visits when browser or server memory is available.
  • Respond to inquiries and arrange meetings, events, and follow-up.
  • Prepare relevant public-source research and pre-meeting context.
  • Notify our team of relevant visitor arrivals with a summary and a link to a founder-restricted transcript.
  • Measure site usage and improve ru/vu’s services and visitor experience.
  • Detect misuse, protect rights and safety, and meet legal obligations.
AI training: RUVU CORPORATION does not use visitor chats to train AI models. AI providers may process prompts and outputs to deliver the requested features under their applicable terms; we cannot speak for their independent retention or training practices.
04

Cookies and browser storage

We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies. Google Analytics helps us understand page views and categorized site interactions. Browser local storage may retain Vu profile details and recent chat history; session storage may cache approximate location and network information for the current browsing session. The browser contacts ipapi.co directly for this lookup.

You can limit cookies or clear site data through your browser settings. Doing so may reset Vu’s browser memory, sign-in state, or other preferences, but does not delete server-side transcripts or memory; email us to request deletion of those records. Some providers may offer their own opt-out controls.

05

Who processes information

We use service providers to run the site and deliver its features:

  • Google Analytics: website measurement and usage analytics.
  • Replit Analytics / Umami: categorized interaction events when the tracker is injected. Our custom-event code sends categories rather than chat text or contact details.
  • ipapi.co: approximate IP-based location and network information.
  • Anthropic: AI responses and public-web research used by agent features.
  • Replit and Google Cloud infrastructure: application hosting, integrations, and file or data storage.
  • Resend and Google Gmail: outbound email and, where configured, email integrations for correspondence and follow-up.
  • Google Calendar: meeting scheduling and calendar invitations.
  • Configured form-delivery providers: routing contact submissions to our team.

We may also disclose information to professional advisers, regulators, law enforcement, courts, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or complete a corporate transaction.

We do not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

06

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including service delivery, business records, security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Different records may have different retention periods. Browser-stored information remains until it is cleared by you, the site, or your browser.

Public-source visitor research is considered stale for reuse after 30 days, but that cache interval is not an automatic deletion deadline. We do not specify a universal automatic deletion period for server-side chat transcripts or rolling memory.

We use administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

07

International processing

ru/vu and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have data-protection laws that differ from those where you live. Contact us if you have questions about transfers and applicable safeguards.

08

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. You may also have the right to appeal a decision or complain to a data-protection authority.

Send requests to privacy@ruvu.ai. We may need to verify your identity, and some information may be retained or excluded where permitted or required by law. You can clear Vu’s browser memory using available controls or your browser’s site-data settings.

09

Regional notices

United States, including California. Applicable law may provide rights to know, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information and to opt out of certain sales, sharing, or targeted advertising. We do not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

Canada. You may request access to or correction of personal information and withdraw consent, subject to legal limits. You may also contact the appropriate privacy regulator.

European Union / EEA and United Kingdom. Our processing may rely on consent, performance of a requested service, legitimate interests such as operating and securing the site, or legal obligations. Where applicable, you may exercise the rights described above and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

10

Children

The site is intended for people age 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 provided information, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

11

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will post the updated version here and change the effective date. If a change materially affects how we use information, we will provide additional notice where required.
